Multi-family housing is an integral part of America's housing stock. Whether it be apartments, or more specific utilization such as senior housing and life care application, Stratford Building Corporation (SBC) has the experience and insight to bring a project to fruition. Credentials have been established over a number of projects exemplified by the profile for the South Seven Senior Housing Center.
Olycap, a non-profit housing organization, owns and manages multi-family projects in Washington's Puget Sound area. In Olycap's evaluation of construction methods, the decision was arrived at to pursue modular core construction for their planned project in Port Hadlock, WA on a site known as South Seven.
SBC was selected from other competing companies to design, fabricate and deliver the modular sections that comprised 15 living units and a community center.
Primary to the design of the South Seven Project was compliance with ADA requirements, along with adaptability of apartments for the occupant's physical needs. The 900 s.f. living units incorporated features to accommodate the tenant’s needs as they progressed into their senior years.
The community area of the project consisted of 1800 s.f. dedicated to a common use & meeting room along with offices and tenant laundry facility.
